We worship together every Sunday at 10:00 AM.
ECC welcomes ALL people. In an effort to be intentional and clear about what that means, we offer the following Statement of Inclusion:
Eastwood Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) seeks to be a people of grace and welcome to all God’s children. We affirm the faith, baptism and spiritual gifts of all Christians, and we are glad to welcome into fellowship and service all people — no matter what race, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, nationality, ethnicity, marital status, physical or mental ability, economic status, political stance, theological perspective, etc. We celebrate that ALL are part of God’s good creation.

If you are visiting Eastwood for the first time, please know that kids of all ages are welcome to be a part of worship. They are invited to partake in communion which we believe is open to all people as a symbol of God’s abundant never ending grace that we receive each and every day. Our Nursery is available for children ages 0 to Kindergarten.

Wear what you like. You’ll see people in jeans sitting alongside folks in dresses or slacks or shorts or capris, and maybe even an occasional suit & tie. Being here and being comfortable is more important than what you wear.

Our style of worship has been called “blended” or “relaxed traditional” because we do not segregate it into “traditional” and “contemporary.” Music played at our worship service ranges from Bach to Bluegrass. And we sing hymns out of a Chalice hymnal accompanied by organ or piano, enjoy a wide array of soloists and ensembles, and generally seek to lift our spirits and inspire our souls through the gift of music.

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper at our worship services every Sunday, as it is in all Disciples congregations. And since we celebrate an “open table, ALL people are welcome to participate fully in worship, take communion, and share in fellowship. Christ’s love knows no bounds!
